What we did
SD Team worked on Radley College, an independent boarding school for boys in Oxfordshire, which was founded in 1847. It is one of only three public schools to have retained the boys-only, boarding-only tradition, along with Harrow and Eton.
On behalf of Beard Construction, the SD teams team carried out sealant works on newly installed oak doors and sealed marble floors ready for the first term. The sealant was colour matched and applied with utmost care to meet the original aesthetic look.
This was a brilliant project to be a part of, and we were thrilled to see the beauty of St Peter’s College up close. Our team of experienced technicians worked during the school half term to minimise disruption and cater to the school’s deadlines. We are very happy with the final results and received some positive feedback.
Results
The SD team completed the work to a high standard while also preserving details acquired from its first build in the 19th century. A mixture of sealing treatments will help transform and freshen up the educational site and maintain the longevity of the building.
