The £36m facility is located at the University of Bristol’s new campus on Avon Street, near Bristol Temple Meads train station.
The expert sealants team from SD have been on-site from April this year through to the end of the summer, carrying out a range of internal works.
Due to this being a medical facility where a number of patients will be treated, sealant application was to be completed to a meticulous surgical standard.
After more than 80 years at its former site at Bristol Dental Hospital, the school will provide clinical training for the education of dentists, hygienists, therapists and dental nurses.
There are 119 dental chairs over six clinical areas where students will be supported by a team of dental nurses, dental technicians, sterilisation staff, and patient administration teams.
The University of Bristol said the service will double the daily availability of emergency dental appointments in the local area.
The facility has been designed in consultation with local NHS commissioners and Healthwatch Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
With patients and staff coming and going, our team understand the importance of maintaining healthcare interiors to ensure exceptional standards of hygiene and cleanliness. We are very proud of the work carried out at the University of Bristol Dental School and we look forward to further projects like this in the future.
