Normandy Way Primary School, which is based in Hinckley, will be operating at net zero carbon and is packed full of sustainable solutions, including solar panels and enhanced fabric walls, floor and roof.
The school houses 210 primary aged children and, as Leicestershire’s first carbon neutral school, will act as a template for future schools in the local area.
Before opening to the public, the school required expert sealant application to both external and internal frames, sanitaryware, white rock, vinyl floors and movement joints, which was undertaken by the SD team on behalf of developer Willmott Dixon.
All in all, the project required two of our sealant applicators to be on-site for a total of eight days and we are pleased to say that the work they carried out was exemplary.
We are immensely proud of the quality of service and attention to detail we employ within our sealants team, and this project was no exception. Well done team.
