SD were invited by HMS Works and Torus Developments to deliver expert repairs to the large scale regeneration project.
Located in Knowsley Council’s principal regeneration area, Ferrersfield comprises of 131 new homes that will actively bolster access to affordable housing options and create a thriving residential development on a former brown-field site.
The project required our expert team to recoat and sandblast every stone cill on every plot throughout the estate, ensuring that the entire site remained consistent with the same stone waterproofing and a quality, professional look.
The cosmetics team have been onsite for approximately 90 man days thus far, with work still ongoing as subcontractor builds have led to routine damage to doors and window frames that require respraying. There are also common interior repairs to be carried out by our technicians, including chips to kitchen doors, worktops, baths and sanitaryware which are all subject to wear and tear throughout construction.
Following completion of cosmetic repairs, the SD Sealants division will be carrying out expert mastic application both internally and externally throughout the development. We have thoroughly enjoyed working on this project over the past few weeks and look forward to seeing the finished development upon completion.
