What we did
The project, which has been carried out on behalf of Kier Construction, included cosmetic repairs on a series of doorways and door panels to ensure that the shopping centre reflects a high standard of care.
Trago Mills is a large shopping complex in Merthyr, South Wales and is one of four family-run, independent discount retailers in the South West. The outlet opened in April 2018 and was a highly-anticipated addition to South Wales’ shopping scene.
“Doors and doorways understandably see so much traffic in shopping centres and retail parks, and as a result they suffer a great amount of wear and tear. Thankfully, our team were on hand to breathe new life into the centre and I have to say it’s looking as good as new.”
Results
A substantial project, the SD team were on site for a full three weeks with 2-3 repairmen required each day. The shopping centre itself holds over 200,000 square feet of retail space, plus warehousing, internal roads and car parking so there was a lot of ground to cover and we are very happy with the results.
