SD, the UK’s leading sealants and cosmetic repairs company has hired two new senior employees as part of its plans to expand, following a period of significant growth.
The Chepstow-headquartered company, which operates across the UK, has recently launched its cosmetic repairs service and has seen an increased demand for all of its services in the last year. SD teams and Cosmetic Repairs’ increased client base has enabled them to expand their cosmetic repairs team.
Rob Thomas, 35, has been employed as Team Manager for SD teams and Cosmetic Repairs in the Devon, Cornwall, and Somerset based cosmetic repairs team. As well as working at client sites Rob will also be responsible for overseeing new apprentices at the company over the coming months.
Speaking about his employment with SD teams and Cosmetic Repairs, Rob said: “I’m very happy to be joining SD, after speaking to people at the company I knew it would be a great place to work. I’m looking forward to the challenges ahead.”
Laura Cox, 25, has joined the team in the role of business development officer at SD’s Chepstow headquarters. A key part of Laura’s role is to build and maintain relationships with current clients as well as travel across the country to secure new cosmetic repairs contracts.
Laura said: “I’m really excited about my new role with SD, the company has excellent career opportunities, and helping SD continue to build their cosmetic repairs client base is a challenge I’m looking forward to taking on.”
Nick Jones, Managing Director of SD teams and Cosmetic Repairs, said: “We’ve seen a very encouraging increase in the demand for our services and this has enabled us add new additions to our cosmetic repairs team.
“Someone of Rob’s calibre and level of experience will really help to build our cosmetic repair brand in the South West, while I’m sure Laura will hit the ground running and help introduce us to new clients.
“We’re incredibly optimistic about the direction SD is heading in and we’re delighted to welcome Laura and Rob to our company.”
