Scott Davies won his fourth consecutive Under-23 National Time Trial title this June, becoming the first rider ever to do so.
Scott, a Welsh racing cyclist who hails from Carmarthen, took part in the HSBC UK National Road Championships at the Manx course, Isle of Man, where he became a four-time British Champion.
Having been a member of Team Wiggins for the past two years, the cyclist wore his WIGGINS colours with pride as he put in a top performance in the time trial competition.
Stopping the clock at 28:20:33, Scott took the Gold medal and crossed the line an impressive 49.66 seconds ahead of runner-up Thomas Baylis.
He is one of just two Welsh riders who finished inside the top 10 during the men’s time trial championship, with Sam Harrison of Team Wiggins finishing 8th.
On celebrating his win, Scott said: “I’m really happy to win the Under 23 title for a fourth time. It’s a great feeling to be National Champion for another year. Hopefully I’ll be able to wear the stripes a few more times this season.
“I wanted to give it my all, and if that turned out to be enough for the win, then brilliant!”
SD teams have been supporting Scott throughout his cycling career, and the team couldn’t be prouder of his achievement.
Managing Director, Nick Jones, comments: “We’re over the moon for Scott. He’s a fantastic rider and gives absolutely everything he has to these trials – it’s a very well-deserved victory and he’s done Wales proud.”
